GRAND OLE OPRY #2

FEMALE DRESSING ROOM

Once the stars have checked in they head to their dressing rooms.  There are rooms set up for the males and the females and there is a long hallway of them.  The pictures in all the dressing rooms of all the different people that have sung and played at the Grand Ole Opry are so fantastic and probably not seen anywhere else.

CAM SITTING IN THE GREEN ROOM

This is a picture of Cam sitting in the Green Room which is the last room the stars wait in before heading out to the stage.  They have a railing on the wall in the Green Room just over four feet high showing the height that the water was in the room.

On the stage there is a wooden circle that the stars stand on to sing their songs and it is famous.  We were each allowed to stand on it and have our pictures taken.  The stage is really something and to stand on it and look out into the audience is amazing.  I would have stage fright for sure!

What an opportunity to see it from the stars' perspective!

THE OPRY LAND HOTEL

ONE OF THE BEAUTIFUL ATRIUMS IN THE HOTEL

From the Grand Ole Opry we headed over to the Opryland Hotel and were we ever impressed.  There are 2,881 rooms in the hotel and it goes on forever.  Really something worth visiting if you're down this way.
