A VISIT TO BEAUTIFUL HOBOKEN

We're both a bit tired from all the walking of the last two days so thought we'd have a visit to Hoboken to see Carlos Bakery and get our Meagan the T-shirt she wants.  Cam decided to drive and the traffic is still busy but not nearly as bad as in NYC.  We managed to get a parking spot just up from the bakery.  The store is quite small and there were quite a few people in but it went fast and we managed to get Megs her T-shirt as well as a hat for Cam and a couple of mugs for us.  We also had to try out the pastry so we picked up a few things, one of them being their famous cannoli.  Ohhhhhh, so good!

Not that crowded but we were there early.

Beautiful downtown Hoboken

We took a drive around and stopped at the Frank Sinatra Park to eat our cannoli and look out over the Hudson River at the New York Skyline.

Looking back at Frank Sinatra Park from the end of the pier.

From here we headed home for a relaxing afternoon.  We're planning on heading to midtown and the upper west side tomorrow.   Stay tuned . . .
